About Us

Help Us Help Others

CBAP's mission depends on dedicated and generous attorney volunteers. We receive an average of approximately 30 applications per month from individuals and families in deparate need of the fresh start that bankruptcy can provide. Unfortunately, we are forced to turn away many of these applicants because we simply don't have enough volunteers to handle all of the cases.

Volunteers receive training at our location, which lasts for approximately 4 hours. We ask that you review the CBAP Bankruptcy Resource Manual before training.

We estimate that a volunteer attorney will likely spend approximately 12 hours per month on a typical chapter 7 case.

If you are interested in volunteering to help a member of our community with their bankruptcy filing, please complete the form below and we will contact you to discuss next steps. There is no obligation as a result of completing the form. We do not share any of the information you provide to anyone else.
